Starting point for an authentic Tyrol vacation in the Stubai Alps
Mieders is a small village located 942 meters above sea level at the foot of the Stubai mountains. Beautiful farms, absolute tranquility and the harmonious coexistence of the locals provide insights into the Tyrolean way of life. Vacationers quickly become friends with the Tyroleans and are soon counted among the locals.
From Hotel Serles, you can directly enter the incomparable natural surroundings of the Stubai Alps. In summer for hiking, mountaineering, swimming, summer tobogganing or mountain biking. One of the highlights: The Mieders summer toboggan run takes you down into the valley at full speed at up to 42 km/h, which is included once a week with the STUBAI SUPER CARD. We recommend a triple pass, as after racing down the summer toboggan run once, you can’t get enough. Due to security reasons, the toboggan run remains closed when wet. We at Hotel Serles are happy to inform you about opening times and rest stops.
In winter, the “local mountain” Serles invites you to go skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snow-shoe or winter hiking, tobogganing or ski touring. The 8-person gondola lift conveniently takes you up to the Serlesbahnen summit station at 1,680 m above sea level. The 7 km floodlit toboggan run is fun for the whole family and Innsbruck is always worth a visit in winter. Various Christmas markets and the atmospheric lighting create a particular Advent feel.
Mieders im Stubaital is an insider tip for those seeking peace, who appreciate the proximity to Innsbruck and the possibility to start into an active vacation right from the doorstep. Here you can experience the “real Tyrol” in all its facets.
